FORGE Orchestration Platform01 / 05

Orchestrate the work.
Keep data where it belongs.

FORGE moves, transforms and manages data across enterprise ecosystems through durable workflows, controlled execution and live operational visibility.

  • Durable execution
  • Data sovereignty
  • Any workload
The challenge

Critical data work is often trapped in brittle scripts, disconnected tools and black-box pipelines that restart from the beginning when something fails.

How FORGE helps

Reusable Blueprints coordinate integrations, transformations, AI enrichment and migrations across secure Runners—with persisted state and live telemetry throughout.

TDC FORGE

Universal data orchestration, built for durable execution.

What is FORGE?

FORGE is The Data Company's data orchestration platform. It moves, transforms and manages data across enterprise ecosystems through durable, stateful workflows called Blueprints, executed by containerised Runners deployed either as a managed cloud service or inside a customer's own infrastructure for data sovereignty and control.

FORGE separates orchestration from execution. Its control plane schedules work, manages state and coordinates dependencies, while containerised Forge Runners perform data movement and transformation where the workload needs to run.

Teams can deploy a managed cloud service or place Runners inside their own infrastructure when sovereignty and network boundaries matter.

Durability and live visibility

Every workflow and partition retains its state. If infrastructure fails, FORGE detects the interruption and resumes the exact slice of work on a healthy Runner rather than restarting the whole job.

Forge Pulse provides live health, throughput and progress telemetry so complex operations are observable while they run—not reconstructed after they fail.

Composable by design

Forge Blueprints define reusable workflows across built-in and custom activities. Forge Artifacts provide typed, versioned outputs, while language-agnostic SDKs let teams extend execution in Go, Python, TypeScript, Java and .NET.

That makes FORGE suitable for integrations, migrations, data quality, AI enrichment and operational automation without locking every workload into one runtime.

Built for enterprise boundaries

  • Data sovereignty: raw data can remain inside the customer environment.
  • Reliable recovery: persisted execution resumes from the last confirmed state.
  • Reusable delivery: proven Blueprints can be composed into larger workflows.
  • Operational control: telemetry, auditability and governed access are built into the platform.

Microsoft Fabric03 / 05

One lake.
Every analytics tool.

Microsoft Fabric brings data integration, engineering, warehousing, real-time intelligence and Power BI together on one open lake, so teams stop moving data between disconnected tools.

  • OneLake
  • Power BI
  • SaaS analytics
The challenge

Power BI, ETL, warehousing and real-time tools often run as separate products with separate copies of data—slowing delivery and fragmenting governance.

How we help

We design and implement Fabric workspaces that unify ingestion, transformation, warehousing and reporting on OneLake, so every workload reads and writes the same governed data.

Microsoft Fabric platform

All your analytics, on one open lake.

What is Microsoft Fabric?

Microsoft Fabric is Microsoft's unified, software-as-a-service analytics platform. It brings data integration, data engineering, data warehousing, real-time intelligence, data science and Power BI together on OneLake, a single open data lake shared by every workload, so teams stop copying data between separate tools.

Why Fabric?

  • One open lake: every workload reads and writes the same OneLake data in open Delta/Parquet format.
  • Familiar tools, one platform: Power BI, Data Factory pipelines and Spark notebooks work from the same governed source.
  • SaaS simplicity: capacity scales without managing separate infrastructure for each workload.
  • Security and governance: Microsoft Purview integration applies consistent access and sensitivity controls across the platform.

Why work with us?

  • Seamless integration into the existing Microsoft and data ecosystem
  • Solutions tailored to each organisation’s priorities
  • Training, consultation and ongoing expert support
  • Faster time to insight and value

Our expertise

We design, implement and manage Fabric workspaces spanning OneLake, Data Factory pipelines, Spark-based data engineering, warehousing, real-time intelligence and Power BI reporting — integrated alongside Databricks, Azure and AWS where that's what a customer already runs.

Claude04 / 05

Reasoning that
safely takes action.

Claude adds a conversational, agentic layer to governed data platforms — reasoning over unstructured data, orchestrating multi-step workflows and safely using tools to take action.

  • Agentic AI
  • Reasoning
  • Governed automation
The challenge

Most AI tools sit outside the systems that matter—summarising text but unable to reach real data, real tools or real decisions.

How we help

We layer Claude onto governed data platforms such as Databricks, Fabric and DataWalk, so it can reason over real business data and safely take action within the controls you already run.

Claude

Agentic AI, governed end to end.

What is Claude?

Claude is Anthropic's family of AI models. It can reason over complex unstructured business data, orchestrate multi-step agentic workflows and safely use tools to take action—adding a conversational, agentic layer to Corporate Data Platforms such as Databricks and DataWalk while retaining enterprise safety, governance and control.

Why Claude?

  • Reasoning over your data: understands unstructured documents, tickets and records, not just generic text.
  • Agentic workflows: plans and executes multi-step tasks across tools, not single-shot replies.
  • Governed by design: permissions, audit trails and human review sit around every action.
  • Production-focused: applied to real problem-solving and decision support, not treated as a disconnected experiment.

Why work with us?

  • Forward Deployed Engineers embed Claude directly inside your delivery team
  • Solutions tailored to each organisation’s priorities
  • Training, consultation and ongoing expert support
  • Faster time to insight and value

Our expertise

We build agentic workflows on Claude for claims triage and investigation, natural-language reporting over Corporate Data Platforms, document and contract intelligence, and multi-step process automation—layered onto Databricks, Fabric and DataWalk depending on what a customer already runs.

DataWalk graph analytics

Fraud analytics and investigation, connected.

What is DataWalk?

DataWalk is an investigation and fraud-detection platform that The Data Company implements for clients, using AI and machine learning to reveal activities and connections across diverse data sources. It supports fast, interactive visual analysis for complex and collaborative investigations.

Internal and external data can be integrated without advanced IT support, giving claims and investigation teams a connected view of the people, organisations, events and transactions involved.

End-to-end fraud operations

The platform supports the full process for detecting, preventing and managing opportunistic and organised claims fraud, including detection, alert management, analysis and case handling.

The challenge

Fraud response is often reactive. Multiple data structures, fragmented sources and complex access controls restrict the organisation’s ability to identify suspicious relationships and automate action.

The solution

DataWalk provides a full-circle forensic detection and analysis environment with a single view of relevant information. Teams can act earlier, improve processes and automation, reduce losses and achieve value quickly.
