Accessibility Statement
Our aim, what we've built in, and how to tell us if something doesn't work for you.
We want this website to be usable by as many people as possible, including people using a keyboard, a screen reader, magnification, or reduced-motion settings. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.
What we've built in
Across the site, we've included a "skip to content" link on every page, semantic headings and landmarks for screen readers, visible keyboard focus states, descriptive alt text on meaningful images (decorative images are hidden from assistive technology), and labelled form fields on our contact form. Motion-heavy sections respect your operating system's "reduce motion" setting and fall back to a static presentation. The site also supports both a light and a dark theme.
Known limitations
Some sections of the site use illustrative, animated diagrams to explain how our technology works (for example, the scroll-driven visuals on our homepage and Technology pages). We've aimed to keep the underlying information available as plain text alongside these visuals, but we know animated, highly visual content is harder for some assistive technology to interpret well, and we're continuing to improve it.
Feedback
If you find any part of this site difficult to use, please tell us. Include the page you were on and, if possible, the device, browser and assistive technology you were using — it helps us fix the right thing. Contact us at canwehelp@thedatacompany.com.
