Cookie Policy

Here's exactly what this site stores, why, and how to control it.

We keep this simple: essential storage to make the site work, and analytics cookies only if you say yes.

Essential storage

These don't need your consent because the site can't work properly without them:

  • Your cookie choice — stored in your browser's local storage (tdc-consent-v1) so we don't ask again on every page. It lasts 12 months.
  • Theme preference — if you use the light/dark toggle, your choice is kept in local storage. It's never sent to our servers.
  • Spam protection on the contact form — the contact page uses Google reCAPTCHA v3 to check that enquiries come from people rather than bots. Google may set cookies and collect device and interaction data for this purpose only on that page, under Google's Privacy Policy.

Analytics cookies (optional)

With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site — which pages are read, how far people scroll, which links and buttons are used, how quickly pages load, and whether the contact form is completed. This helps us improve the site. Google Analytics sets these cookies:

  • _ga — distinguishes visitors; expires after 2 years.
  • _ga_<ID> — keeps track of your session; expires after 2 years.

These cookies are only set if you choose "Accept analytics". IP addresses are not stored by Google Analytics 4, and we don't send your name, email address or form contents to Google Analytics. Advertising and personalisation features are switched off.

What we don't use

We don't set advertising cookies, and we don't use cookies to build an advertising profile of you or share data with ad networks.

Changing your choice

You can change your mind at any time: . Choosing "Reject" deletes the Google Analytics cookies we set. You can also clear site data through your browser's settings.

Changes to this policy

We'll update this page if what we store on this site changes. The "last updated" date at the top shows when it was last revised.
